Plumas NF, From Oroville take Hwy 70 east to Hwy 162. Take Hwy 162 east to Olive Hwy. Turn right and go 5 miles to Forbestown Road. Turn right and go 16 miles to La Porte Road. Turn left and go 27 miles to La Porte passing through and go 2 more miles to the recreation area sign, turn right and go to the site.
