Plumas NF, From Oroville on Hwy 70 take Hwy 162 east to Olive Hwy. Turn right and go 5 miles to Forbestown Road. Turn right and go 16 miles to La Porte Road. Then left and go 27 miles to La Porte passing through town, going 2 miles more to the Recreation Area signs. Turn right and follow signs to site.
