For Chewing Blackbones: This is a quiet camp in a meadow which also has a lake. Mountain View芒鈧劉s are wonderful. Gave 3 stars because our heat and air would not work with their electricity(we芒鈧劉ve since moved and our rig is fine)and when trying to dump we were told the dump station was芒鈧漷oo full芒鈧 so we had to go to a full hook up site to dump. We have a class C with a tow, so it required turning around 3 times. Took 20 minutes to finally get dumped. The staff is extremely friendly but be warned there are definite electrical issues here.

For Chewing Blackbones: Back three years later. Still a great camping location for Glacier area. All the electrical services have been upgraded and there are now several full hookups for big rigs or whoever . They芒鈧劉re basically in the middle of an open field. I芒鈧劉ve been here five days on my way to Banff and there hasn芒鈧劉t been more than a dozen or so campers here the entire time. There are two shower houses but only one operating as the other is boarded up, just as it was three years ago. The shower house that芒鈧劉s open is dated, the shower (one of two that works on the men side) that芒鈧劉s open is old, rusted but has plenty of hot water and good pressure, as to the sinks. They were cleaned regularly my entire stay as was the park in general. The Blackfeet seem to be a laid back people, very friendly and accommodating. They delivered firewood to my site and would ask me every morning on their rounds if I had trash I would like for them to dispose of. There are plenty of campsites, many along the lake, where you can get some privacy or just take a spot in the open field. The staff is great , the views are magnificent, and the price is one third of what the KOA at St Mary芒鈧劉s charges.

For Chewing Blackbones: This place is fabulous and beyond my expectations from reading the reviews. Very good internet with ATT at 35mb download. Easy to stream movies and contact friends. The campground is a large sloping field type on the shores of Lower St Mary Lake. Sites are wide open. Full hookups $55/day $45/day electric. Water spickets are disbursed throughout the campground. Gentle breezes from the lake with absolutely beautiful views of the mountains to the west.
This beats the $140/night in all the other parks. The Park office is loaded with good stuff too! Friendly staff!
Awesome!

For Chewing Blackbones: Don芒鈧劉t believe the negative reviews, which are mostly w complaining about lack of cell service (um did you expect them to put up a cell tower just for you in this remote part of MT?) or the fact that it was closed in February (if it芒鈧劉s that important芒鈧all ahead?) We stayed here for two nights in late June 2022 and absolutely loved it. The setting is gorgeous, the sites are spaced apart more than most campgrounds, the prices are very reasonable compared to the KOA, and the access to the east side of Glacier NP is fantastic . I couldn芒鈧劉t believe this CG was only 1/4 full, although it was a weekday so weekends are probably busier. The lake is swimmable, there is a tiny play set and foos ball and a pool table. The only negatives were very dated bathrooms and little to no cell/internet (if that芒鈧劉s a negative for you; not for us.). The staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend this CG and giving your money to the Blackfeet tribe rather than KOA!

For Chewing Blackbones: Previous reviews describe this campground well. It芒鈧劉s different in that it芒鈧劉s more like open field without any logic as to which sites have utilities. Our site was huge.
Would gladly spend a week here to have good access to the park.

For Chewing Blackbones: Stayed in August 2019. Conveniently located between Many Glacier and the East entrance, this is a Native American operated campground on a beautiful alpine lake with gorgeous Mountain View芒鈧劉s. The spaces are large, open, and mostly level. The staff is cordial and the firewood is cheap! The facilities are old and dated, but clean. It芒鈧劉s a fraction of the cost compared to the KOA at St Mary芒鈧劉s. It芒鈧劉s not a resort by any stretch, but you芒鈧劉re there to see Glacier National Park so it芒鈧劉s the location you can芒鈧劉t beat

For Chewing Blackbones: If traveling in the winter, don芒鈧劉t expect this place to be open. Their website says they are open all year. We were driving south from Calgary late in the evening in February to find a 2 ft snow drift in front of the entrance and the gate locked. One star because we had no other experience to rate.
