For Butcher Pen Recreational Area - Apalachicola River FFWC: Great for a get away. No facilities or clean water. Come prepared. No luck fishing but kayaking yes ma芒鈧劉am creak upriver a half mile was beautiful. If walking around on the dirt roads-there芒鈧劉s no hiking trails-please wear orange. Active hunting area. Local hunters were friendly but littered beer cans along roadside were ick. Like come on-they were all natty lights. At least have some taste and drink Milwaukee芒鈧劉s best. Reserve ahead of time. It芒鈧劉s free. I came two nights ahead of my reservation. No one came out and checked. Just sayin.
