For Smokiam Campground: I recently had a stay at Smokiam Resort in one of their lake side Tepees with my two year old. We had a blast! This lake is so unique and special and the resort has great accommodations with very clean restrooms and shower areas for after getting into the mineral lake. Their pool place was not open when we were there but it芒鈧劉s pristine and a beautiful addition to this area. We really enjoyed and loved the layout of the resort they have something for everyone and all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I芒鈧劉d highly recommend this stay for anyone who is looking for a unique camping experience. The lake side tepee was a treat! Definitely look forward to coming back here again in the future.

For Smokiam Campground: Stayed en route north at the end of March so not very busy. Lovely spot right by the lake - full hook ups - city owned and operated with camp host on site - $25. Picnic tables, back-in spots but suitable for big rigs. Lovely sunset.

For Smokiam Campground: When we made reservations a tear ago they said we would get premium site with 50 amp when we got there the site was all dirt, 30 amp. They they were behind on remodel , the whole place needs a remodel. The pool is not heated and if u want to use it watch out for the kids running in and out of the hot tub no one there to make people fallow the rules. WiFi is mostly off line. Road noise is loud. If you want a place to stay at Soap Lake there is nice just at the end of town. Renters are allowed to put up as many tents in one site as they can fit and they are on the lake do some looking around before staying here.

For Smokiam Campground: My previous review was 3 stars. But there is something enchanting about this place, this town. I just love it. Found it by accident and can only stay one night. But we are already making plans to come back and stay for awhile. Be sure to eat at Don's while you're here.

Previous: All gravel. Full hookup right on lake $20. Nice warm shallow lake. Good for wading and getting wet on a hot day. Bathroom s average. Picnic bench and small trees. There is a playground and swimming area.
