For Fort Sage Special Recreation Area: The first 2.5 miles of dirt road was washboardy, but nothing a little slowing down couldnt deal with. The rest of the road, though dirt, was smooth and easy. The camp sites are flat, level and easy to get in and out of! Its sooo quiet. The campsite are plenty far enough away from each other so that you arent really close at all. Each site has a built in fire pit and picnic table, and its plenty far enough off the road the dogs could go for a run. Id recommend this place to everyone!

For Fort Sage Special Recreation Area: Washboard going in but well worth it. Several motorcycles and ATV芒鈧劉s using the area in the middle of week but they were friendly and respectful. It quieted down at dark. The view, and the stars were amazing. There were cement tables, fire pit and grill at the site we used.

For Fort Sage Special Recreation Area: Awesome. A little washboard on road leading up to site. We are towing a 31 ft airstream. No problem finding a suitable site. Several dirt bike groups when we arrived but all left at sunset. Best vault toilets I have ever experienced. Very clean area.

For Fort Sage Special Recreation Area: Great BLM camping. The dirt road in is about 3 miles and is very nicely grated. We stopped at the first campground. Not recommended for large class A's or 5th wheels. We have a 24ft TT and no issues navigating. Great signage on the way in. Our site has a picnic table and fire pit. Added bones is garbage also! Not too common for free BLM land but greatly appreciated. There are pit toilets at the campground up the hill past the first camping area. We picked up a bag full of garbage out of the fire ring and surrounding area. We practice leaving a site cleaner then we find it.
