For Pine Lake Campground: If you don鈥檛 need hookup, this is the campground to use when staying in HJ! Beautiful sites in a wooded area that are well separated and mostly level (not a gravel lot like the in-town parks) with easy access to Pine Lake. There are both reservable (I had trouble accessing the website) and FCFS sites. Each site appears to have a fire ring (free firewood) and a picnic table. We took site 28 which was plenty long enough for our 2 Class B鈥檚 and most sites can handle big rigs. If you can access the website for payment it鈥檚 $18 vs $20 (2024) if you use an envelope and the drop box. They have a QR code posted at the sign-in kiosk for online payments, but I couldn鈥檛 get it to work (my internet I think). If you enjoy fires, the amount you save not paying for firewood 鈥渆asily鈥 pays for the campsite! We had 3 to 4 bars of LTE cell coverage using T-Mobile and AT&T on the 鈥淏ell鈥 network, but the internet was pretty slow. Since we鈥檙e from Florida I doubt we鈥檒l be back up this way, but if we do come back, we will stay here!

For Pine Lake Campground: Lovely provincial park. Dry camping, CAD$20, fresh water pump. Stroll the new boardwalk along the lakeshore and meet your fellow campers. Close to Haines Junction restaurants and stores. Popular with Whitehorse folks on the weekends. Good to excellent Verizon signal. Arrive early, especially with a larger rig, first come first served.
