For Lake Goodwin Resort: Avoid at all costs! Rudest employees ever! We made a two-day reservation and were given advance instructions on which campsite to park.脗聽脗聽脗聽I thought it was rather unusual for an RV park to ask for a damage deposit of $75 in advance, but OK.脗聽脗聽Upon arrival the office was closed so we called the office at 5:15p for further instructions, left a voice message but no call-back.脗聽脗聽We parked in the assigned spot, but while hooking up, was met by a woman who did not identify herself as an employee but wanted to know why we were parked.脗聽脗聽When I told her, we had made a reservation, and paid a deposit she got extremely condescending, and proceeded to tell us that we did not have a reservation and no deposit on record.脗聽脗聽She then proceeded to accuse us of being the no-show that for previous days.脗聽脗聽She proceeded to rant, that we could not just drive into a facility and set up without permission.脗聽脗聽I told her that I had a voicemail confirmation, and would she like to hear it.脗聽脗聽She continued as though I had said nothing, lecturing me that we had no reservation and she had no record of it, and this was not how they ran things.脗聽脗聽Perplexed at her extreme rudeness I politely asked her again if she would like to listen to the voicemail on my cell phone.脗聽脗聽She refused to listen but continued to grill us like we were some sort of criminals.脗聽脗聽My partner hearing the conversation came out and strongly responded to her that there was a communication issue with their organization, and they needed to fix it.脗聽脗聽It was NOT our problem.脗聽脗聽This was how our introduction to this RV park began and was so rude and so heated that we felt it would certainly go downhill from there, so unhooked everything and we departed.脗聽脗聽I called the office twice to speak with a manager about the rude behavior and return of our deposit.脗聽脗聽I left a voice mail each time, but my calls were never returned.脗聽脗聽 As for the park itself.脗聽脗聽This is more like a permanent trailer park with cramped spots and a lot of kids with plastic tractors running around.脗聽脗聽Although it is on the lake, the photos depict a peaceful and serene park, which it is not.脗聽脗聽If you are looking for a peaceful get away, spare yourself from this nightmare. $55 ridiculous!

For Lake Goodwin Resort: Over priced. Amenities not as advertised. 50 Amp was only 40 Amp. No cable connection at pedestal. More of the appearance of a trailer park.
