For Gorge Lake Campground - North Cascades National Park: Not a great campground choice unless you intend to use the boat ramp and/or fish the adjacent lake. You also need to be self sufficient as there芒鈧劉s no freshwater supply, firewood or other amenities available. There are 8 sites total but they are small and crowded together. Check the campground site map available at the official National Park Service site before you reserve a site online, don芒鈧劉t trust other sources to accurately identify specific site locations or even how many sites are available in the campground. We have driven by this campground several times over the past few years and have never been favorably impressed by the overall 芒鈧搗ibe芒鈧. We芒鈧劉ve also seen it芒鈧劉s usually occupied by people who are there mainly to use the boat ramp, resulting in a lot of traffic due to shuffling boat trailers and trucks around all day. The campground overall is dominated by the gravel roads and resulting dust, not by the limited trees and undergrowth along the lake shore. All in all I consider the camp sites more like extensions of the boat ramp facility than an actual 芒鈧揷ampground芒鈧. I would take the worst available site at one of the other campgrounds along the highway before I would stay here for free.

For Gorge Lake Campground - North Cascades National Park: Great little camp area. One spot for a small camper. Right by the river with close hikes.
