For Halls Crossing Campground - Glen Canyon National Recreation Area: This is actually a pretty nice campground, with views of the lake from A loop. Some big trees for shade, and it芒鈧劉s closer to everything than the full Hook Up Rv Park is. The ferry is running now from this side.

For Halls Crossing Campground - Glen Canyon National Recreation Area: Place looks abandoned now that the ferry no longer runs. I called the NPS to ask if the fee still applied even thought the place is all grown over. They weren芒鈧劉t very helpful or courteous and claimed I still had to pay $13/night on my Senior Pass; $26 otherwise. I pressed them on why pay if they weren芒鈧劉t going to mow the grass and trim the bushes and was told to call another person/number who never answered. This is NPS, they芒鈧劉re still obligated to maintain, especially if they芒鈧劉re going to charge (over and above taxes).
