For Fort Sam Houston Army RV: While traveling thru this area,we decided to stay here one week, but rec lady said only one night was available, but MANY lots were vacant. They were still vacant the next morning. She offered one more night for 01/05/2017. Trains ran almost on the hour, all night. Helicopters/airplanes were also noisy. Showers were mildewed/dirty.
Rec lady recommended we not use GPS to get here. However, using her directions, we were lost. We did use the GPS and it worked fine.

For Fort Sam Houston Army RV: Second time we've stayed here as a great layover spot on our way back home from Rio Grand Valley. Stayed 3 nights this time. Great FamCamp. Did not use bathrooms, showers or wash facilities so can't comment on those. No WiFi (reason for rating 4 instead of 5). Big level concrete pads with lots of space between each. $20 p/night. They do take reservations which is one of the main reasons we stay here versus Lackland.

Lucky Sweet Dummy
For Fort Sam Houston Army RV: Good San Antonio location. Base roads are horrible. Base is nice. All about location.
