For Benton Oaks RV and Campground: Pretty average RV park. Mostly a parking lot, some full hookups, some w/e only. Be advised you will have to pay $10 to dump here even if you鈥檙e staying here. And there is no potable water so you cannon fill your tanks (unless you stay). Some areas in shade, most out in full sun. Haven鈥檛 ventured I to the restrooms or laundry yet. But I鈥檒l say here I won鈥檛 be back. Too many parks catch you in a moment of need (tanks full/empty) and then you get slapped with additional charges for things that should be included in the camping price. Right off. Busy road so if you鈥檙e in the front of the park you鈥檒l know it. I booked online and drove in the next day to fill/empty, so some top to bottom cleaning that required electric hookup, and to offload some larger pieces of trash (mostly shipping boxes). 鈥淐heap鈥� sites are $35 plus an additional $10 if you want to dump. Not cheap in my book for a very average park. I didn鈥檛 see any kind of hi-jinx mentioned in other reviews, but I purposefully sequestered myself away from the crowd.

For Benton Oaks RV and Campground: I芒鈧劉ll make it short 1) terrible reservation system 2) no/ bad communication between fairground office staff and Camp hosts. 3) unfair pricing(charge the same for parking lot w/ water/power only as full hookups) 4) Camp host- Teri is just a disrespectful bully who does not care(hates) about his job or the customer.

For Benton Oaks RV and Campground: To update from my last review. Showers are NOT clean. Codes on restrooms/laundry are changed frequently. See the camp host for new codes when you arrive. Otherwise, great wifi, cable tv and full hookups in the pull through sites. Can be muddy with heavy rains.

For Benton Oaks RV and Campground: Clean and tidy. Once you leave the ocean, there are very few spots to stop.

For Benton Oaks RV and Campground: We much prefer here over the other choice, KOA, in Corvallis. Long paved sites with staggered spacing. Fairgrounds adjacent for walking, dogs, etc. And many trails can be accessed from here. Restrooms and laundry are in a concrete building and rustic but clean. Showers similar to many state park facilities. Camp host in site 10 for check in very friendly but apparently not always there. Be very careful as you follow your GPS to get here. There is a railway bridge marked 13'4" on 53rd but it has a big dip under it. We chose to turn left at the roundabout and avoid trying to go under it.
Camp host mentioned the park is closed to visitors during part of June and July. Call first.
