For Flaming Arrow Campground: A nice little campground nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains just outside of Cherokee proper. Checkin was fast with friendly re recommendations for sights to see and a friendly person to walk us to our site and guide us in. The sites are level gravel with a nice concrete pad for stepping out onto from your rig. Each site also has a picnic table and full hookups including cable with around a dozen channels.
Many of the sites are situated around a central area with a pavilion, pool, playground, games area and common area bath house/laundry and office with supplies. It was nice to be able to sit on our porch and watch the kids play in the center of the campground. The campground is pet friendly with the stipulation that your pets be walked in designated areas and kept out of common areas where not all people would wish to encounter animals.
We felt extremely welcome and never once got bothered by the staff. Everyone was polite and friendly with not a curmudgeon in sight, lol! It was a blissful three days for us being there and I would highly recommend this campsite. It芒鈧劉s easy to get into off the main road and easy to get out of to get back on the road as it芒鈧劉s set right off a main road. Despite that fact, we never heard any traffic noise since the campground was set back from the road. The location was extremely convenient to get into Cherokee and into the Smoky Mountain park.
In conclusion, nice quite campground, great people, great location. Not really any downsides for us.

For Flaming Arrow Campground: Excellent hosts, campground clean, close to Cherokee was invited to cookout and apple butter making by the campground owners had a great time and met several other campers
