For KOA Journey Kamiah Clearwater River: Somewhat dirty and many rundown permanent residents. We were there just after Labor Day and occupancy was maybe 10%.
The center row of campsites where we were placed was about 20 back in sites times two because there were duplicate sites behind us accessible from the loop road around the section. 40 sites total in the middle. We were placed next to a giant RV the first night with no others in the row. The next night they left but another hugh pickup ant trailer were placed right next to us on the other side! Come on! We could have easily been placed at least six sites away from anybody else. On top of that, the folks across from us cleaned fish on their picnic table for several hours each night. Thankfully we left before the stench set in. This was probably a great campground in its hayday but it is now a sad reminder of what once was. We won芒鈧劉t be back.

For KOA Journey Kamiah Clearwater River: Dirt, barely level pads with cracked cement. Many permanent rv芒鈧劉s on site, I mean permanent (like a trailer park) - flat tires, blue tarps for roofs, junk around them. Their fishing pond is more like a fenced flooded area. Showers dirty with towels on the floor and no paper towels in the bathrooms. Will not come back and trying to cut our stay short by looking for other accommodations.
Disappointing for a KOA campground.
