For Balanced Rock Park: Loved this campground! We stayed over Fourth of July weekend in our overland trailer. It was hot during the day but was amazing during the night from the canyon walls. We drove up the road and swam at Ritter Island but you can swim, kayak, and paddle board in the little river that runs through this campground if you have a permit.The only downside was that there are a lot of flies so be sure to pack bug spray! Would definitely return!

For Balanced Rock Park: Absolutely loved this campground! It was a smaller campground right on a river in a canyon! Super beautiful. When we camped here we were the only ones! It is free. Balanced rock is right up the road. In the morning we were stopped for some cowboys to move their cows thru the canyon, was very neat! Like a miniature Grand Canyon!
