For McFarlane Park: Lovely campground with spacious lots and beautiful grounds. Our site was well shaded and we were the only ones there on our two night stay. Came from the north through a circuitous route shown on our gps. Would stay again or try one of the other county parks.

For McFarlane Park: Nice little campground. Near river but no direct access that we found, which is unfortunate. Half of the sites reservable, half not. Some accessible across a grassy area so a bit hard to figure out where one starts and another ends. Electric often on the wrong side. But, quiet with lots of birds. >1 table/sites and quite level. Spacing between sites is nice and you have the option of full sun or full shade. We came mid-week in June and there were lots of options. Water and dump available. I would definitely stay here again. $18/night. We came from the south on several gravel roads. They were well graded and flat so an easy access option.
