For Lake Ahquabi State Park: Newly renovated - opened less than a month ago. Couldn鈥檛 get the shower to work prom- no hot water- had to stand within6鈥 from the wall in order to reach the slight spurts of water from the shower head. No shelf for any toiletries . The 2 hooks are at waist height so you can鈥檛 hang a towel off the floor. Just not what I expected of a new renovation . Had to go back into the separate bathroom area to use a mirror and dry your hair. Would have been nice to know they drained the lake for the renovation so couldn鈥檛 use the lake at all.

For Lake Ahquabi State Park: Nice campground. Pros include nature, trails, power hookups, bathhouse and bathrooms. Dump sites are easy to get to.
Cons, no full hookups, all the lake sites are for 芒鈧揧outh Groups芒鈧, the kayaks and beaches are a couple miles away.

For Lake Ahquabi State Park: This is a very pretty State Park and well maintained. We arrived at night and it was difficult to find our reserved spot since we weren芒鈧劉t familiar with the lake or campground. We have a Class C 38芒鈧 motorhome. The showers & bathrooms were nice. It is electric only. No water hook-ups. The site is really not big enough for a rig over 32芒鈧劉 unless you are not towing a car. We didn芒鈧劉t have room for our small car except to pull it up by the picnic table. It is a very nice area and we felt safe. The drive is beautiful to the site.
