For Lost Burro Campground: We pulled in and it looked a little rough but the guy (owner? Overweight, missing teeth) at the office was friendly at first. We were looking to use wifi for my buddy芒鈧劉s job, and the site said it had wifi, but the guy at the office said it wouldn芒鈧劉t stretch to our campsite. No problem though, he seemed considerate enough and told us we could pull the RV up near the office to use wifi for about 4 hours while we needed it. A few hours later, he came out of nowhere and was coming at us aggressively telling us we had to move and that he only said we could put our car there. We were trying to communicate reasonably with him and he had none of it, started filming us, told us we were now trespassing, and told us to move. We happily did so, but we could tell he was high on something. We said 芒鈧揾ey man, you seem high and you芒鈧劉re not making sense,芒鈧 and he responded 芒鈧搈aybe you guys are high on meth!芒鈧 We didn芒鈧劉t say anything about meth so he essentially admitted that芒鈧劉s what he was on. So we got out of there and went to the place down the road (Cripple Creek Hospitality House and Travel Park), which is essentially the same price and WAY nicer. Know what you芒鈧劉re getting into if you come to Lost Burro

For Lost Burro Campground: Holy moly. Do NOT believe the pictures posted on their website. We were wedged in a site filled to the brim with Breaking Bad permanent RV residents. Duct taped and plywood over most of their windows. None looked like they had been kept up. Grounds were overgrown and the 芒鈧揷reek芒鈧 is completely dried up and filled with wild bushes and weeds. We did not feel safe enough and left after just one night. We gave up our second night because we felt so unsafe. We were at an electric only site. The 芒鈧搊ffice芒鈧 is a broken down shack. Their potable water hose and the dump site were just feet away from each other. It was the most filthy and unkempt campsite we have ever been to. Wish I could posts some of the pictures I took so you could see how horrible this place
