For Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch County Park: So close to the suburbs, yet so remote. Wild pigs, wild turkeys, beautiful scenery, great hiking. Lake close by within walking distance. Facilities clean and updated. Free hot showers. Sites level and paved with nice grass in between sites. No cell service but we did not mind disconnecting for awhile. Great value at $30 per night. We would definitely come here again.

For Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch County Park: As others noted, nice in winter. Access road (Roop Rd) is very narrow and 3 miles long. Some sites have water and electric, not all sites are level. All in all, a nice park , particularly if you have a smaller rig.

For Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch County Park: Our favorite county park, Nov-March, during the week (not weekends). It has wonderful hiking and biking trails through rolling hills with lots of wildlife. Minimal cell service, the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars, but if you came up here to chill and relax, who needs the screen!
