For Castaic Lake Recreation Area: Not safe. Bathroom lights on automatic. Bathroom door locked open. You could see the my feet from the outside. No stall door.
Dark very stoned guy walks in and out.
Definitely not a camper. The only camper in the place is semi permanent and has an extension cord into a park outlet 200 feet away.
Obviously the staff doesn't care. Rules are not enforced.

For Castaic Lake Recreation Area: Nice views over lower lagoon. Great campground right off the "grapevine". Makes a good stop entering the LA area. $20 level spot with zirepit. Fishing at lake
