For White Horse Lake Campground: For White Horse Lake Campground: There are around 80 sites here and some expense was taken to make the sites some of the best I have seen, BUT the 17 miles that must be traveled on 芒鈧搘ashboard芒鈧 roads makes any coming and going from the campground a nightmare!! If we had anywhere else to go on short notice, we would have (somehow) turned around and said 芒鈧揻orget it芒鈧!! Your rig and tow vehicle will never be the same. Takes over an hour to drive those 17 miles. At least asphalt the roads into the campground. Such a shame a peaceful, quiet campground experience has to be flawed with the memory of the drive in and out! Inexcusable!! Would not recommend to anyone unless you芒鈧劉re camping with an ATV and tent.

For White Horse Lake Campground: Time to update this campground information.
You can make reservations or first come is accepted.
Location. Campground is on the edge of the Mogollon Rim plateau at elevation of 6400 feet.
Getting here. There are 2 gravel roads, both are about 25 miles from Williams, AZ and Flagstaff, AZ. Be aware they are "Wash-board hell".
Positives: Fresh water. Available only from Large tank at the Host site. It get's trucked in.
There are 80 camp sites and 5 sites that will fit a 40 ft RV . Each site is level with a concrete pad and table. Also includes a Fire ring and a BBQ Grill. Very nice !
It is a Beautiful park with setting among the Pines. A beautiful open meadow with a small Lake Note that this is a rare gem in Arizona. It is even stocked with trout.
Activities. Trail quads and side by sides are popular here. Also hiking to the nearby Sycamore canyon overlook.

For White Horse Lake Campground: Nice campground that can get busy on weekends. Lots of outdoors stuff like fishing and ATVs around.
