For Redstone Arsenal Campground: Husband has a job near here and after calling every single camp site in the area this was our last hope. We booked a week (first time on any military installation) the sites are paved , large pull through. Easy to maneuver in and out of park one street away from the PX and comm. laundry in camp site area. Very clean. Camp host were great very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Great WiFi . Very clean and well kept. Dog run area is nice and clean as well . Kids can ride their bikes without worry . All around great place for our family .

For Redstone Arsenal Campground: Have campground bully. Hopefully they芒鈧劉re only temporary, I have never run up on an adult bully so mean or hateful at a campground before. However, the campground host does a good job managing them. I think for most it is easier to MoveOn then it is to complain.

Mike

For Redstone Arsenal Campground: Reminds us of trailer parks from our 1974-79 days at Ft Bragg. New host just started and trying to turn it around. Large part of Park is full time local folk who have set up permanent camp. Concrete with no shade. No day room or meeting area. Grass without exaggeration was a foot high. You can see the potential but no one has the vision to bring it to life. Shameful example of an RV Park.

Carolyn

For Redstone Arsenal Campground: Here are Redstone for 5 days! Pretty disappointed in the campground setp! Not alot of privacy. No trees in park, but plenty that surround the area. I feel like I am in the parking lot to Walmart. The new pads are not finished to date. Should be another month or so. Good laundry facility. Cable stinks! Do love the walking that is available.

For Redstone Arsenal Campground: These are nice big concrete pad sites. As of 15 February 2018 they were expanding and putting in another 40 or more sites. Hopefully they will add some landscape too.

Melody

For Redstone Arsenal Campground: Gate #8 is much better to come through than the main gate which requires you to execute a U-turn to get on Goss Rd (quite the trick towing a 40' rig). The campground is very nice. Sites are concrete with picnic tables. The bathhouse and laundry are brick facilities and were neat and clean. The washers and dryers worked and only cost $1.00 each. All hookups worked fine. The campsites were spacious and easily fit big rigs and their toads. There was a good sized dog run and separate areas for big and little dogs. The wifi was excellent. There is no cable tv. There is no office on site so you have to find them at another location. We only stayed one night so it was just a few drop in a lock box. We would definitely stay here again.

Andy

For Redstone Arsenal Campground: I can only speak for myself but think this FamCamp is great! Yes it's gravel and no cable but the sites are spacious with full hookup. The RV Host was very helpful. Yes there are a number of full timers taking spaces but that seems to be the norm for FamCamps. The remaining sites are fully booked through May. I do plan to try and stay here again.
