For Payne Lake Rec Area Eastside: I go here quite often. If you are looking for a place to go for peace and relaxation, this is it. Very secluded, quiet area. Not much to do in the area surrounding the park though. Great fishing in the lake and some hiking/nature trails. Small towns located 15-20 minutes north and south. Larger city 35-40 minutes north. Park is clean and quiet. Camp hosts are very friendly. Rates are dirt cheap as well, starting at $3/night for primitive camping.
