For Hythe Municipal Campground: We were looking for a place to stay south of Dawson Creek that had hookups and a shower. We芒鈧劉re self-contained and don芒鈧劉t use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed on a Friday night in late May in our 8 meter (25 foot) MH.
This is a nice, clean small campground close to the center of Wythe. It has 24 sites, about half with full hookups and half with electric only. There芒鈧劉s an overflow area with additional primitive campsites. The sides were gravel and level and open yet separated by grass. There are several trees in and around the CG providing shade. The showers are in an old train car. Although a bit dated and would benefit from fresh paint, the showers were clean with ample hot water and water pressure. There芒鈧劉s a dump station with rinse water. There芒鈧劉s potable water that芒鈧劉s quite soft. There was one other RV in the CG during our stay. There was good ATT and Verizon cell service while roaming.
There芒鈧劉s a small grocery store and heritage center in Hythe. We arrived too late to visit. It芒鈧劉s less than an hour芒鈧劉s drive to Dawson Creek.
